OK, I haven't updated anything for a long time. So here are a few things we've been hearing a lot of in our home lately.

On the floor are several pieces of artwork Magoo is being encouraged to send to friends and family. He lifts a piece of art, inspects it, considers it, and says, "I think I'll keep this one." After deciding to keep several (more than he was giving) he states, "I'm not much of a present giver." I give up. I was able to talk him out a few carefully considered pieces; if you received one consider yourself lucky. If you didn't receive one I'm still working on encouraging his gift giving.

Also, he's take to saying "I was like . . ." Really, is he a pre-teen already?

Then he says "Guess what?" with about the same frequency of the above.

He wakes and dresses himself. His papa is still asleep. His papa inspects his clothing, "Great job getting dressed. Your socks don't match. You need to wear matching socks to school." Moments later a proud Magoo walks out, "I solved the problem, I'm wearing not matching socks on the bottom and matching ones on top." Two pairs of socks, child and papa are happy!
